| Trisuits
Sem from UK ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for emailing TriathaNewbie.com! You are correct. Trisuits do not keep you dry; they only allow you to dry quickly because of moisture-wicking material they're made from – like most athletic clothing out there. There are other benefits to using a trisuit though. They save you from changing during the transitions as they are as tight as a swim suit, have padding in the butt for the bike and can be easily used for the run. The ad claims to have built in panels that improve comfort specific to triathlon muscle movements, but you can be the judge. The trick is finding something that you like and is comfortable to swim, bike and run in. Our recommendation is to try a few on before you buy one. Be sure that it allows you to move your shoulders freely as you will need the most amount of flexibility in that area for swim. Check out these models and let us know what you think: You’ll see below them on the page some links to two-piece trisuits. Basically, you can buy the bottoms separate from the tops if that’s your thing. Hope that info helps! Be well, Jack Shaw
