I am just getting into triathlon and see many things to wear/not wear at your first tri but cannot find anywhere that says what national stores generally cary tri clothing. I do not know what size or style i want and do not want to buy something without trying it on first. Do you know what stores generally cary tri equipment or at least where to find that information online.

Any athletic store will carry a majority of the triathlon clothing you'll need. Running gear and biking gear are pretty easy to find because people do this all year long. You may have some trouble finding a huge selection of swimming gear out of season, but still, any athletic store should have something to choose from.

The main thing is to get a great deal on a great product. You can go to REI, Sports Authority, EMS, or a combination of them see a good selection.
