Mike fro North Caroliona ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We can give you detailed advice on what gear you should use for a tradition triathlon (swim, bike and run) but the only advice we can give you for a kayaking triathlon is to wear a helmet, a life-jacket and call the race organizers for tips on the appropriate kayak for this event. Most organizers are pretty excited about what they do and are thrilled to help out with any tips. They also might be able to tell you where to get the best bang for you buck! We wish you the best of luck and would enjoy hearing back from you on how you did with the event. First-timer stories are always very inspiring and could just get one more person off the couch to give a healthy lifestyle and triathlon a try! Be well. TriathaNewbie.com staff
