My "First Triathlon" Story: It was an amazing feeling to finish!

Triathlon InspirationYesterday I completed my first mini-triathlon. It was an amazing feeling to finish!  The swim was extremely challenging, more challenging than I was ready for! We swam into the wind, and the large orange bouy looked SO FAR away! I had heard from a friend that the water temp in the lake was "okay." It was Freezing! I think the actual temp was 54 degrees. Yet, I finished the swim. I felt the strongest on my bike! This was my best event. The running was a challenge, as I lost my breathe, got a side ache, and basically could not run. Yet, I made it under my goal of 2 hours in a time of 1:51. I think that is a great time to beat next time!
