Please type here.Last fall, I bought what I thought was a beautiful time trial bike but after repairing or replacing the tube 5 times without even getting a 20 minute ride in, I am beginning to believe my wife when she calls it my "pansy" bike. I keep getting pinch flats so obviously I am doing something wrong. What can I do so I can get in some riding?

That stinks that you keep getting flat tires – what a pain in the butt!!! We have instructions for changing a tire. You can match them up against what you’re doing and see if you can pinpoint where the problem might be in the process.

If you find that you are still getting flat tires, take your bike down to your local bike store and ask them if they can watch you change the tire or if you can watch them change the tire. Some bike stores actually have classes where you learn general bike maintenance. It’s worth it!
