We can see some of you getting nervous, but you have to remember one thing: People don't repeatedly beat you with oversized q-tips through the entirety of your swim, but people DO enter the water slightly crazy and you can get bumped, kicked and scratched if you are part of that group. Luckily we have some great advice for you. Most races start in the water (unlike this video). Wade into the water on the OUTSIDE of the pack. STAY on the OUTSIDE of the pack until you can see that the pack has been broken up. Then you can dig in and blow them all away with your fantastic swim skills!
