There is no one on our staff who deals with Diabetes, so we cannot give you any first-hand advice. Plus, we're not doctors. We did go onto the National Diabetes website and found a section called Food and Fitness. You might want to check that out for some tips. Also, and we're sure we don't have to tell you this, check in with your doctor. We're sure that he/she can give you some advice specifically for your body type. Be well.
