Dealing with Dogs While on Your Bike

My husband and I have been having problems with loose dogs chasing us on our bike rides. Any civil solutions to those who may have faced this problem before??

This is a really tough question to answer because every state has different laws pertaining to dog-owner responsibility. Go to your New York State house website, http://assembly.state.ny.us/leg/, and search the laws on dogs. Most states have leash-laws. If you don't find anything there, call your local Animal Control Officer and see what options are available to you.

Otherwise, you might want to change your route.
